Theresa E. Garcia, "Terry", 90, passed on November 1st with her loving family by her side.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Henry Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (Fiske) Kearns.
She had been employed in the textile industry for many years and then had been employed by International Packaging.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Martel and her husband Michael with whom she resided the past 40 years. Terry is also survived by two grandchildren, Michael Martel and his wife Andrea and Matthew Martel and his wife Amanda. She was lovingly known as G-Gram to her great grandchildren, Ali, Lea, Iam, Elijah, Ekklesia and Everest, loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Terry was blessed to also have the love of Marilyn McNulty, whom she considered a daughter. Theresa was the mother of the late Debra Garcia and sister of the late Henry J. Kearns, Jr., Margaret Simmons, Rita Cochran, Edward, Richard and George Kearns.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Wednesday, November 6th from 4pm until 6pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral service at 6pm. Burial will be private. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
